Ingat lagi tak tentang masalah pelajar aku yang aku post dalam entri NI?
Sekarang masalah dia dah pun selesai. Ayahnya dah pun mula bercakap balik dengan dia. Boleh ngam la. So, aku harap, all is well. Tapi yang tak laratnya...satu kes pulak. Aku cuba untuk keep a gap between me and students. Bila ada mesej yang tak penting atau tak perlu reply, aku diamkan aje.
So, here's the thing, malam tahun baru tu.. Tengah-tengah malam.. ada pelajar yang hantar mesej kat aku wish Happy New Year. Aku tak balas. A day after New Year, I went out with a friend and the student sent a message again wishing the same thing.
Hari Selasa masuk kerja, student tu mesej lagi Happy New Year. Kemudian aku reply la wish dia. Lepas tu tanya pulak kenapa aku tak balas mesej hari tu.. Well, I'm your lecturer. I will only entertain messages and calls on official purposes, mostly if it comes from the students for sure.
Well, it's not that I don't appreciate any texts attended by you. It's just that, I don't see the purposes or obligations to entertain the texts. Despite of all, we really should aware of the gap between a teacher and a student.
